Hi, to anyone out there. I work at the Vet Center in Springfield, IL, about six blocks from Abraham Lincoln's Springfield home. Vet Centers are connected to the federal Dept. of Veterans Affairs and are only authorized to counsel military combat vets and their immediate families. The vets we see are from the current wars back to WW II and everything in between. They are served in either groups, as couples and/or as individuals. About 80% of our vets are diagnosed with PTSD. Life is a Journey

My life truly has been a journey. The journey led me from being a business executive in Chicago to a licensed therapist in Southern CA. We have life born out of love, relationship with family, friends and co-workers and we have loss of people, pets, homes, jobs and dreams.
